Does anyone think Blake will still be around after
next week? I was surprised to see that Sewzie picked
him as da Idol winner!

I haven't trolled the idol forums at all, just wondering
what those "in the know" are thinking...

I agree, Melinda is by far the best singer.

But....

...I'd say probably 75% or more of the voters are teenagers and more than half of those are girls. That is the only thing that kept Sanjaya and Chris in it as long as they did. All of those voters now are not going to vote for an Amazon sized 16 year old, a huge lady with Letterman teeth or a girl who looks like a midget but isn't short enough to be one. Blake wins.

Yeah...Blake has a good shot at being in the final two. One more crappy week out of Jordin and she'll be gone, in spite of all the pimping the judges are doing for her benefit. (They'd have to induce their clause that allows them to change the caller votes to change it). She's an awesome talent, no question, but she's not as solid as you think, MG. And Lakisha has had a very BORING season. She came out on fire, but has ho-hummed her way through this competition. I think she has the best voice out there, personally. Melinda's voice is great, she's smooth, and professional, but I find her boring too. I think both Melinda and Lakisha did better last nite than they have in the last month, but...

BLAKE! Blake twists things up a bit, and is always fresh. He does well in all the musical genres and he's absolutely adorable. He's not perfect and maybe he's not as good as the others (thought I'd argue that based on an overall talent), but he is always entertaining. I love that he brings it all every week!!

I still remember someone named MG who swore my man wouldn't win it all last year too....

Oh, and if anyone is interested, Blake and Jordin were the top vote-getters in the combined two week tally.

I always forget that we need to figure in who is voting and how
much they are voting!

I do agree Blake can entertain....I just don't like his "style".
Now thta doesnt mean that a ton of 16 year old girls can't like
him and spend all night voting for him.

Heck I think they should make it so you can only vote once....but
where is the profit in it for them that way? How much per text message is it? And what percentage of the votes are cast that way?

I think it would be more accurate if you voted for the person you wanted to kick off.

Let should limit the voting to 1 time per household, or cell phone number. You know the votes are tremendously skewed.
