Just to remind, you can turn off the side bars in your My Stuff, preferences area...

The installation defaults to having them both on... You might like it better off, or not. Up to you.

With the new main menu box on the left sidebar, i suggest you all now leave your left sidebar on, and turn off the right sidebar if you wish. This gives lots of room to read the posts etc but still gives full access to the main menu box.
