Anyone using the new version of imesh? I think it is 6.0, but i could be wrong. Every song I download has license issues, and can't be burned by Nero, what is the deal?

Any other good MP3 sites these days???

Torrents.

They're the only thing I've had luck with for the last year or so.

My dumbass brother paid for Limewire and couldn't get the thing to work with his firewall. He called their tech support and they told him to contact Geek Squad.

MPAA sues torrent, ED2k and newsgroup websites
Posted: 2006-02-24 02:16 sloncek

MPAA has announced that it has filed seven lawsuits against torrent ED2K and newsgroup indexing websites. This is not the first attempt from MPAA to try to force internet users to stop downloading movies and TV-shows, well at least not for those using torrent or ED2K sites. But it is something completely new for the newsgroups.

'Website operators who abuse technology to facilitate infringements of copyrighted works by millions of people are not anonymous ? they can and will be stopped,' said John G. Malcolm, Executive Vice President and Director of Worldwide Anti-Piracy Operations for the MPAA. 'Disabling these powerful networks of illegal file distribution is a significant step in stemming the tide of piracy on the Internet.'

All the website administrators are supposed to be from USA.

Websites targeted by MPAA are:

*Torrent
IsoHunt.com, BThub.com and TorrentBox.com (which have the same owner).
TorrentSpy.com
NiteShadow.com (for which, I have to admit I have never hear before, and the site doesn't appear online).

*E-Donkey
ed2k-it.com

*Newsgroups
NZB-Zone.com
BinNews.com
DVDRs.net

MPAA Press Release:

Below are some alternatives that you can use:

*Torrent
NewNova.org currently down due to a datacenter problem)
MyBittorrent.com/

*E-Donkey
ShareProvider.com/

*Newsgroups
NewzMonster.com
