Cooking Lobster: How to keep a lobster tail straight What a great idea I always had trouble with the lobsters......like keeping the tails straight. So here is what you do. Get a wooden skewer and push it through its tail up to its brain. It may sound cruel but it actually kills some of the nerves which makes them more quieter when you throw them into scalding hot water. Plus their tales sta straighter and look better on the plate with tons of lemon and butter... What a great idea for a forum. _________________________ I'm not voting for ROMNEY! Was thinking about selling it all though. I just had the tank stripped down and re-built too. Got a leak on the seals so got it all re-done. I am currently considering (not all of them but this is my cut list). I'm also still researching others. Man I wish I could have kept them, they were two great looking fish. Only two years old too.:(. I put him in the pic to help people get an idea of the size. This thing is in MINT condition with absolutely no scratches. The stand and hood are incredible and just scream pride by the cabinent maker. I just need to clean out the algae that was left behind (no problem). The guy had it set up as a salt reef tank and didn't have time to get it all cleaned. Anyways, now that all the silliness is away, there are a lot of websites out there now. 2 of the ones I visit and help out with as well as get help with is Fish Geeks! and The Planted Tank Both are good in their own right. Fish Geeks has alot of helpful people on there with good knowledge about freshwater tanks and diseases. The Planted Tank is of course highly focused to having lots of plants and how to keep them alive. I only have one site for Saltwater, but it's focus is mainly on how to maintain reef tanks and has some very good calculators for building your own tanks. The website Garf is very good for that purpose. Enjoy! _________________________

Turned the lights on and there was Gary flopping around. When I put him back in I swear he had the most dumbfounded look on his face. Most of the time it was my fault showing people what they did when you opened the lid and held a piece above the tank, of course that was most all party nights when I did it.
