Deejay used to have a site called aquariumaddictiondotcom that was pretty cool. A few people here were members. Any interest in a fish keeping / aquarium forum ?

Is your salt tank still kickin' Deejay ??

Cooking Lobster: How to keep a lobster tail straight

What a great idea I always had trouble with the lobsters......like keeping the tails straight. So here is what you do. Get a wooden skewer and push it through its tail up to its brain. It may sound cruel but it actually kills some of the nerves which makes them more quieter when you throw them into scalding hot water. Plus their tales sta straighter and look better on the plate with tons of lemon and butter... What a great idea for a forum.

Yup, still have my 75G tank.

Got a sand sifter starfish and also a small horseshoe crab a month or so ago.

Was thinking about selling it all though. I just had the tank stripped down and re-built too. Got a leak on the seals so got it all re-done.

My star polyps are growing too.

I'm picking up a 300 gallon 3/4" acrylic with custom oak stand and canopy this weekend. Now I really can't wait to get the remodel done and get moved in.

Anybody wanna help me unload it when I get it home ???

One Red Tiger Oscar and one Lutino Oscar will be the main residents.
I still haven't decided on others.

I am currently considering (not all of them but this is my cut list).
I'm also still researching others.

Yellow Belly Bullhead
Teacup Ray
School of Silver Dollars
School of Balas
Two or more Silver Tip Sharks
One Pictus Cat
Tinfoil Barbs
Red Tail Shark

The tank won't see water until next Spring so I have plenty of time for planning.

Planted is out of the question with Oscars. They enjoy tearing stuff up in their free time.

I am still undecided on substrate. It will be either pea gravel or sand.

I just had to get rid of my two Oscars when I moved:( I have no room for them. I kept the tank in storage for when I move. Man I wish I could have kept them, they were two great looking fish. Only two years old too.:(. My old room mates still have their tanks set up but they didn't have room to house them till I get a bigger place.

Yeah man, I can't wait to move and get it set up again. Not sure if I'll get two oscars again or try something else. I have a while to decide.

My addiction has almost gotten out of hand. I have 3 10 gallons, 1 55 gallon, and 1 55 gallon being assembled. I just bought 150lbs of substrate today for future tanks!

Got it home yesterday !!!

The guy in the pic is not me but a buddy who helped me move it. I put him in the pic to help people get an idea of the size.

This thing is in MINT condition with absolutely no scratches. The stand and hood are incredible and just scream pride by the cabinent maker.

I just need to clean out the algae that was left behind (no problem). The guy had it set up as a salt reef tank and didn't have time to get it all cleaned. Reef tank owners rarely clean the back and sides as the algae is good for the tank.
