ya seems alot of the guys are using 19' and widescreens now, as well as longer throw lensing too.

I didnt see anyone using 19's, but I did see a few using 17's.

While browsing the site, I found myself stuck in the DIY CNC machine forum.

That would have come in handy a few years ago when I needed to make my PC boards!

The price for the DIY CNC has come down, so has the price for a mass production unit as well. The only difference now is whether you want to be stuck with proprietary software, or write your own!

Ya the guy who made my case is Haas, who made his own cnc, and I can vouch for the output quality. Its awesome what you can do with those things.

I just happen to own a genuine Haas case! By this I don't mean a copy made by someone else but one by the Haas man himself!

He even made up a stand like his original design for me.

Sadly I just haven't had the time to build my projector, I just
may have to sell off my parts for now and restart after we
find/buy/move into our next house.

I'll post my parts list, trying to decide whether to sell or keep the parts.

find time SOME day to build it? OR should I hand over the project to someone who has time now? Heck even if I build it
today we don't have a room set up to use it......yet.

Depends really. How much you have invested, whether or not you decide you want to build the 17" style.

I did notice that they are now selling a complete projector for 500$!!!!

There was a point I would have taken that stuff off your hands and finished it. But alas, my tv hobby is no more. I'm quite happy with my big screen and have no use for a projector anymore.

I'll give ya $5 for it all.

You are right, my wife would probably kill me if I picked up another hobby.

I know all about the wifey thing DE, keep hobbies to a minimum cause you have to have time for those honey do's.

It took me about a year to build mine. lol... and i didnt have the room either.. I just ended up taking over a room downstairs.. haha

Now I dont use it as much as I should. Maybe i should just start playing WOW on it.

They do make a good winter project...
