I am happy for him. His batting down the stretch for the Brewers was not so hot. Seeing as he spent a lot of his life in Detroit when his dad played for the Tigers I am happy for him. He seems very happy to be back in Motown.
For 20 mil a year the Brewers can put the money into doing what they have done best and develop more talent from the draft and trades. Losing our hitting coach Dale Sveum to the Red Sox hurt more than losing Fielder IMO.

Yeah, I've been meaning to congratulate ewe and ewer team for taking our slugger.
Actually, you will love him! He's a true team player and is fun to watch! And he could have gone to worse teams than yours, so mostly we Brewer fans are okay with that landing spot.
One of my regular customers (this old guy who comes in alone) told me that Prince's dad played in Detroit. That's cool.

That's what I figured. I remember oh so well when daddy Cecil played for Detroit. When he hit the 50 HR mark around 1990, everyone made a HUGE deal of it. Of course, that seems like nothing now...but it was big at the time.
