Just out of curiosity, if the primary were held today and you were forced to choose, which of the following would you select and why?

1) Newt
2) Romney
3) I would vote off ticket for a 3rd party candidate and would likely not vote Republican in the general election.

Not looking to debate but am interested in how conservatives see these options. (I know there are still others but for the sake of this discussion please leave it to these 2 + any non party affiliated candidates).

1. Because Romney is a RINO, IMHO. Also, I doubt a third-party candidate has a chance in hell at winning against Obama.

I'm with Suze... but the unnamed independent would have the initials "R.P."...

Too bad it can't happen. Our system disallows any real chance for a non-mainstreamer.

Watch the vid hon! Ewe'll like it! wink

The mainstreamers have just about driven Herman out... it was disgraceful, how the local FOX news poo-poohed Cain when he won the debates down here a few months ago... they grudgingly admitted he won the debate, but were upset how that fact muddied the water for the "real candidates".
Later the same day FOX news nat'l picked up the same tone.

He wasn't ever taken seriously as a contender.

Bitches! mad

Still supporting Ross Perot, huh?

buttwhip

lol lol lol

Anyway, I'd vote #2, since he's more moderate...like me.

If a guy who's more conservative than that is nominated...I would probably go #3.

Anyone who has skeletons and wants to run has to know they're coming to light. Cain is an asshole who speaks well.He got caught.I still think Romney has the best electability.

I hail from the Great White North.... However if I had a vote in the Republican Dog and Pony Show... I mean Convention. It would 100% not be for the 2 listed above...

I echo the above on -- Dr Paul - Even if he doesn't get the Dog and Pony Show approval, he is still eligible for a 3rd party run and my vote would follow. Funny how the mainstream media has blacklisted him, by falsely reporting the winners of the polls and has even gone as far as sending a memo limiting him to 90 seconds during the debate afew weeks ago while give other candidates 10+ minutes.. The establishment doesn't want him winning.

Yeah....he's too sane for America. Shit might actually start to get straightened out with a decent man living in the White House. It's such a crock. I'll still waste my vote just to say fuck you to the rest of the candidates.

finger

Politics piss me off. I shouldn't even talk about them. shh

Talk susie, please, always share your thoughts, feelings, & opinions about politics.

You might not take an interest in politics, but believe me, politics will always take an interest in you.

Sus its not a waste of vote..

You don't vote for who you think will win.. you vote for who will do the best job and hopefully enough people feel the same way as you do.. thats one reason to share your thoughts, feelings & opinios about politcs - to express your concerns, hopes and solutions to others and help persude those that disagree with you and hopefully win them over to seeing things your way. But your right a close second is to say fuck ewe to the rest of the canidates..
