Early impressions are ehh... the interface is like a giant windows phone which I am not a huge fan of. I get what they are trying to do, and maybe when a bunch of pre-created templates come out it'll be better but I gotta think it's going to annoy a LOT of people. Free developer preview is available for anyone who wants to peek at it. Recommend VirtualBox to install it unless you have hardware you don't care about. VM Workstation 8 works too I have heard (beta, limited release only).

Free consumer preview is out today btw. Installed in vm with ease. Man this new interface is going to take some getting used to but on touch screen is gonna be nice.

I've played with Linux a bit... sadly though, I have to admit MS has dumbed me down since back in the day. Still have l33t D0S skillz tho wink
